Summer camp ~ relax, laugh, grow

SAUG camp is part of a long tradition of summer camp for Unitarian Universalist (U.U.) adults.  We welcome all open-minded friends to join us, whether U.U. or not.  Read why we call ourselves a U.U. camp.

Our camp is an opportunity to get away from it all and learn new things, meet new people, try new activities and laugh, sing and dance.  This is a unique week that creates lasting friendships and can change your life.  The focus is on creating community and supporting each other. Our vision for camp is A WEEK LIKE NO OTHER.

Please join us at Dekoven Center in Racine for summer camp. August 21-27, 2022. We welcome newcomers with open arms.

The base fee for camp is $550 (including room, meals and programming) and the additional charge for a single room will be $50, signup will not begin until 2022. To sign up for camp, contact Julia Peyton at Dekoven Center.

To sign up for the week or for Wednesday only please contact DEKOVEN CENTER's Julia at jpeyton@dekovencenter.org or 262-633-6401

History lesson

S.A.U.G. camp is a descendent of Saug-for-All, which  was founded in 1999 by Joan and Jon Lager. Jon and Joan had attended AMUUSE singles camps and wanted to continue their wonderful camp experience by creating a camp for all adults whether single or married.  Sadly, Jon passed away in the spring of 2002 but Jon’s values, spirit, and love live on in our camp community. For more about our vision and values read this.
